yeah, i only have one account also, been playing since the beginning of 2005. my brother plays though, too. he has 2 accounts.

Well - ignoring most people posting.

I and a great many people I know in game have only 1 account, and we are 2-3 year old players, why? Because paying for one account by month is a hard enough thing to justify and paying for 2 accounts, so that its a lil easier in game, sorry but I'm really into the game but thats just not my thing. Hell I'd love to have a nice juicy trader in a freighter doing basic runs all day whilst I PVP with my main. But then,  Thats more time organising and looking after, doubles the ammount of money I spend on a game, increases how much time I have to actually play. Why would I want to do that for a game?

I love the game, I get excited about it when I know something big is going to happen, But I am there knowing that one account can make me happy, I have corp friends to fulfill other roles for me. And so I believe that I don't need a second account. There are a lot of people who have a similar opinion to me, and there are others that just plain cannot afford to have a second account. We are the majority. Yes you do have quite a few dual and up to 3 accounts, but the 5-12 accounters a rare, and are very much over obsessed with the game. Even if you can pay with buying GTC's with isk. Its just depressing to know that They'd actually want to have that much invested into a game.

Real Life is just so much more rewarding ^_^

I have no Life, but I do have 5 active Eve accounts (used to be 6); in the last 4 years the longest I`ve been away from Eve was 1 week (broken PC)

i have 3 i got my second during the first month of my gameplay and then my third about 2 months ago :) 

As to the other poster, however:  Most people with alt accounts don't actually pay for the 2nd account.  If they are smart they use isk to pay for it.  Personally I have 2 accounts, I pay for both with isk.

Actually per CCP most players have only 1 account.  (roughly 40% have more than 1). 

 

As to the other poster, however:  Most people with alt accounts don't actually pay for the 2nd account.  If they are smart they use isk to pay for it.  Personally I have 2 accounts, I pay for both with isk.

 

id like to know how you can have one billion spare isk :p

sure we have alts for trading and stuff but those are on the same account.

his second character (same account) does the skill training and PvPs with the money the 1st charatrcer makes.

the 3rd character on his ONE account is galenete because he was bored and he never touches him.

in my experience on a average iof ya take it yes most people will come around 2 accoutns as and becoz many of them have like 3-4 accoutns and some WELL PAID spies have AROUND 9 accounts ofcourse wont say it here then i'll have some major alliances coming after me for INFORMATION who is that ...F>.. and working  for who and shit ..anways on a avertage based  for the whole Eve 1 person means  = (1.8 -> 2) accounts thats one way to get a huge advantage in the game multiple accounts (loads of intel gathering)
