Mastering the Art of Chill

So i started this Thread in the AoC forums, and this was the list I was able to get. It seems like a small list. Like a on the other thread feel free to add more and I will update it.

 http://forums.ageofconan.com/showthread.php?t=113136

1.FFA PVP: Gank people in Kheshatta, and/or Wipe DM/Set grind groups with 6 lvl 80s. =)
2. Onyx Chamber.
3. Scorpion Caves.
4. Epic Kheshatta
5. Run Oasis for the 50th time in hopes the item you want drops.
6. Gather more Building Materials for Guild City.
7. Wait for Siege to begin.
8. Raid tier 1 zones: (Honor Guard, "The Worm' Yakhmar.)
9.  Run Villa instances in Noble District.
10.Grind all your gathering skills and make crafted gear?
11. Powerlevel lowbies/Guildies
12. Do PvP mini-games.
13. Hunt players down in the Boarder Kingdoms

14. Sieges (defending/attacking)

All MMO's have grinds. If you don't like to Grind then MMO's are not for you.

Doubt is a pain too lonely to know that faith is his brother.

Yakhmar baby!

There is also:

Aztels Fortress

Kyllikki's Crypt

Vistrix

Number 13 is good though :)

RIP Laura - We shall not forget you.

yes, you are correct.

there is roughly 200% more "stuff" to do at the end of AoC.

Unfortunately none of it works correctly.

well, unless you really like raid bosses that just stand there, T2 Raiding that doesn't work, Sieges that are janky and have no real point, (waiting up to three weeks to schedule a siege that will barely work), Crafting that is completely shoddy (now with nerfs), barely passable UI, absolutely  horrible pvp with no actual point beyond griefing and ganking.

yes there are so many more options in this game ... well except that all of them absolutely suck.

Yep,

and 200 times less than TBC has now - not even including the Wrath of the Lich King with REAL open world PvP and siege systems without the "epic" limits of 48 vs 48 at 4 Frames per second.

NOT instanced open world combats in 2008, sure the only game that will have it now...will be .... WotLK.

Again Blizzard was just one step ahead of them all. Just as they were back then in 2004/2005 :)).

And do not forget: FULL air, sea and land battles with full team manned tanks. All in one package.

For those interested : Ironforge launches the attack airplanes, just have a look.

And for those in WC 3: the different siege engines were already in that game. Talking about being prepared... :)))

Est Sularus Oth Mithas

Love the negativity of the OP, maybe worry more about getting to level 80 instead of worrying about what you can do once you get there. Stop comparing AoC to wow, if you want to compare them then you have to do so based on where wow was at AoCs current stage, in which AoC has much more content.

FFA pvp

pvp minigames

6 man instances - Onyx - Atzels - Caravan - Resource instances(Oasis etc)

Epic Zone Farming

raiding- Tier 1 -Yahkmars Lair (broken atm), Dragons lair, Kyllikkis Crypt

                Tier 2- BRC

Gathering/Crafting

Guild City Progressing

Sieges (defending/attacking)

Daily Villas

Rofl,  go and play WoW then!

You compare a game that is just released to a game that is four years old and then think you have said something worth while!

Vulture Skull

EVE
VG (returning after GU6)
D&D retired(early)
WOW - retired
HGL(non-starter)

Vulture Skull has it spot on. The only sensible thing to do is go play another game though I just bought Vanguard not beeing too intrested in WoW. Roll on WAR & Spellborn though Vanguard is actually lot of fun and has good depth and complexity.

i've played WoW from febuary the 11th 2004 which is the release date, it had bug'd talents along with no PvP system or battlegrounds. very few instances and only 2 60 raid instances <MC and Onyxia's lair> along with 3-4 normal raiding instances so all WoW had at level 60 was PvEing for items, the items from crafting were crap and so were the enchants. so dont compare a freshly released game to something which has been going on for 4 years. conans potential is massive compared to WoW.
