Ryzom's new team has provided a road map for the game's future and their plans to restore the world of Atys to its former glory.

In order to keep you informed of what is going on with the new team of artisans working hard in the shadows, we wanted to first tell you that we are really very happy and very proud to work, and for some of us - work again, on the magical world of Ryzom.

We also want to sincerely apologize for not having been able to talk to you earlier. Unfortunately we had a lot of work to do to revive our fabulous planet; tonnes of terrabytes of blood, sweat and tears... hard drives to recover, check, and deal with... countless Kami, Karavan, Kitins and tools to find and put in place... all in an effort to prepare for your next visit.

We are all really pleased to share our joy that now the hardest part is behind us.

Along with your new entrance tickets to Ryzom we have also decided to redo the website, which will soon be made public.

But we must warn the old members among you: do not expect major visual changes; the new site will look much like the previous one, but in fact it has been redeveloped and entirely rebuilt. This site will be much lighter, faster, cleaner and more efficient in order to bring in and not to scare away our future adventurers, all with the slogan: "Less is more".

Read more here.

"We cannot change the cards we are dealt, just how we play the hand" - Randy Pausch

I could only imagine the faces of all those hardcore Ryzom fans out there

I'm probably going to try the game after it re-releases.  I've heard so many praises about it, I don't see why not.

The only difference between a Troll and a Fanboi is which side of the fence they stand on.

Probably my favorite MMO of all time... I had a love hate relationship with it... loved ot play it, hated leaving but did.

Between the velvet lies
There''s a truth as hard as steel.

I never had the chance to really play it before, but after hearing so many great things about Ryzom I'm really looking forward to trying it.

It really is a great game, I totally enjoyed the crafting aspect of it and also watching the seasons change , I don't miss getting aggro from those dam dogs outside of town .

I will try it too.  I was not enjoying it early on after it first released, but I always loved the ideas behind this mmorpg.

This game is very different... Not only because the world is indeed a living one - with predators hunting herbivores, seasons changing and resources ripening in the ground in various spots depending on the weather... Not only because the craft system is one of the most thought-through, complex and original there is with limitless possibilities for experiment... Not only because the community is unparallelled among MMORPGS with not a single instance of griefing and help from any player at any given time...

Ryzom is a kind of game you really get to remember as your second home, a place of your awakening, your Motherland...

No wonder so many people kept haunting the forums, stayed together hoping, waiting even when it seemed that all hope was lost. Many Ryzomites have been rewarded this day and this is how it was meant to be...

A game such as our beloved Ryzom simply can not die...
