Will Turbine ever offer a lifetime sub to DDO like they do with LotRO? I am a founder and had played DDO for a couple of years but had to let my sub go in Feb 08 due to finances, but just recently was able to get a lifetime sub for LotRO, and was hoping to get back into DDO also, but only if I could get the lifetime sub. Thanks for you responses. |

A lot of us wish they would, but sadly I don't see it happening. I'm still ticked that WAR isn't offering a lifetime either. But then EA is behind it all... |

I am someone who played DDO from beta through for a year and a half or so. Had they offered lifetime, I'd still be playing it sometimes. I think that lifetime subscription models are a win-win for most companies. The majority of people don't pay for 15 months of play, they end up moving onto something else. A lifetime sub also helps to keep server populations a little higher since people are more prone to hopping in and playing sometimes.

I have been asking for a Lifetime DDO membership since LOTRO launch - I do wish they would make it a reality. |
