The only bugs I encounter are an invisible mob here or there.

Also as far as people calling it incomplete its because most people have nothing better to do than rush through the game to lvl 80 in the first week of release. Even a "completed game" would get very boring after hitting lvl cap in the first week. You wouldnt last for another month or so after that without complaining because new content dosent come out that fast.

MMO is about endgame. Well there are some MMOs where you can level more or less forever, but usually its about leveling up to max and then start playing for real. Considering the content that it was suppose to be released with at launch either isnt ingame or broken its no wonder people are leaving. I left and I played this game without a single hardware issue. My problem was the game itself or well more Funcom's lies and crappy support.

woah, MMOs may be about End game for YOU, but its not for me. MMO's should be about enjoying the journey not rushing to the end. People who "work" mmo's like 2nd jobs are only setting themselves up to run out of things to do and thus fall into constant complaing

so grinding mobs for 40 levels because Funcom did not put any content in is fun for you?

i never said that. You act as if Funcom will never add more quests/content. People obviously arent having very much trouble gettiong to 80 by the number of them already.

and what I said is that the people who ran into the lack of quest wall are canceling because of boredom. Some even canceled before they hit the lack of quest wall just because of bad performance, bad CS, overly zoned world, poor performance etc etc

Looks like the hardcore who did the power grind to 80 are not exactly thrilled by the endgame also.I am sure that in six months they will have more quests and content but by then most of us will have moved on.

Anyway you want to interpret it  AoC is still selling really well but the hours played is steadily declining. That tells it all right there. The game has the staying power of a 30 year old virgin in a high class bordello.

i think Xfire is messed up, cause i check /played in AOC and it said just 4day & 20 hour but in Xfire it said 163hour (6day 19hour). You might argue i might have play second character.  I only play 1.

But come one, xifre you make me look like a 24/7.  I think the problem is.. sometime the game AOC was crashed and the game actually still running ( Cttl + alt + del) you will see the Aoc sitll running.. So xfire is just keep counting..

up one spot from yesterday, and x-fire is just a small portion of the overall user base, now that is a fact.

I wonder how much of that one spot rise is due to them starting to send out buddy keys?

That small percentage of users are logging about half the hours there were at aunch. From over 95 K just after launch to 48 K yesterday. Lost a third of the hours from the last 2 weekends, June 8th it had 66K hours, June 15th 60K. It is pretty obvious that people are canceling their subs.

And once again these are the more dedicated MMORPGers who live for the PvP and are gear whores.  These are the guys and gals who did not give a damn about grinding the last 30 or 40 levels of content because FC did have time to do a decent questline all the way to 80. These are the people who could give a damn about crafting and RP'ing. If they are quitting in such numbers what about the casual player who will be quicker to hit the cancel button when customer service blows him or her off or runs out of quests and just refuses to grind mobs for 40 levels. What about the casual players who want to be able to craft and enjoy the  RP fluff content?

Bottom line is if AoC cannot hold the hard core players the casuals will be leaving a lot faster.

wrong

the hardcore freaks who reach max lvl in the first 1-3 weeks dont deserve decent endgame.  same thing happened in LOTRO.  we had half my guild get to 50 in the first month and (with no endgame apart from 1 instance) they all chucked a fit and left.  casuals kept going and look at the game now.  its great fun and has a tonne of content.  same thing with AoC and just about every other MMO out there.

hardcore always are the first (and in some cases) the last to leave.  casuals are just that...casuals.  they may play a few hours for the next 3 years, or they play a few hours every 6 months.   its completely random with them.
