You people are the reason MMO's, and PC gaming in general are going to shit.  You all expect TOO much out of a game.  You want this, you want that.  You want the game to be your PERSONAL way, when that's not what everyone wants.  Once you finally get a game that fits your description, you toss it aside because you feel it sucks and "doesn't feel like that good of a game".  I laugh at you. 

 

I've been reading all these posts about the D3 announcement and I can't help but tear my hair out at all these so called "diablo" fans that are "dissappointed".  You are the people that wanted this game.  You are the people that registered on Diablo 3 fansites.  You are the people that practically begged Blizzard to make this sequel, and when it's finally announced; "I'm dissappointed" - "It's not an MMO, that's too bad.  I'll wait for the next game ( Which wil result in the same dissappointment and the cycle will never end for you )" - "It's not 3d" - "It still has the same camera.  WTF blizz? This is 2008, and the game is coming out @ 09 or 10? LOL! This will fail surely!!" - "How crappy.  It's just D2 with updated graphics, new classes and story line"

 

Seriously, you people make me sick.  What the hell do you people want? Do you want Blizzard to send an agent to each person that will buy D3 and ask them how they want the game to be? Do you want them to make different Diablo 3's to cater to your playstyle/expectations? Guess what? Impossible.

 

I feel sorry for developers.  You people are spoiled and expect too much, and when something finalyl comes out that looks like it might be it, you shrug it off because you didn't like one or a few little things. 

 

Bring on D3.  I'm glad Blizzard is [i][b]staying true[/i][/b] to the series and keeping the same camera style, classes, evilness, darkness, gore, and endless mobs to kill.  That is Diablo. If you don't like it, then guess what? You never liked the series.  Gtfo.

Yeah, go back to WOW.   

We don't want your soulbound, roll for loot, gold farmers, forced groupings, GLF monk, GLF priest, infinate grind.  Just give us D2 with better graphics.

Whats funny is that D3 was on cracked.com 10 games you're never gonna see list.

I got a pile of sequels which are worse then previous incarnations.  Lets see.  *rummages through pile*

Sequels which got definatively worse with time:

Master of Orion 3

Starfleet Command 3

Empire Earth 2

Hearts of Iron 2

Quake 3 Really quake 3????? multiplayer was awesome in this game, dont know why you think not.

Doom(1 and 2 awesome, 3 was crap)

MMORPG's that get worse over time:

Planetside

WOW

Sequels which haven't improved gameplay, but also haven't gotten worse:

Battlefield 2 ok Battlefield 2 improved alot over 1942 and vietnam , now if you wanted to say battlefield 2142 then you would be correct, infact it used the same engine and just put it in a different landscape.

TF2  I would say easily this has gotten better, now its nothing major il give you that but its alot of little things, and while adding content and to contiue adding it, its great.

Sequels which actually improved the game.

Diablo 2 (sequel to Diablo 1)

Medieval Total War take 2

Warcraft series

Half-Life

Dawn of War

Call of Duty

The list goes on, to me it seems the only thing your qualify improving the game is if they take the first game and overhaul the hell out of it in the 2nd one, prty much keeping the same gameplay type and story line, everything else got uped.

 anyway diablo 3 seems to be made for those who loved diablo 2..............thats alot of people, see nothing wrong with this system. I didnt want them to change the game, it was fun because of what it was. Certain games you dont want to change. Ever play the mega man series, i did like hell when i was a child and kept playing it for awhile, what happend when it got uped to 3d, the game become such ass.

Looks like Diablo III will follow Diablo II end game idea. Infinite time wasted with gear grind, no campaing editor and no real character customization.

Isn't that what made Blizz so huge? Managing the funds wisely and delivering what they can deliver and delivering it good. Flagship just didn't deliver and got burned.

To me it spells incompetence, no matter how much you like to cheer for the underdog.

I brought Diablo 1 and 2 for PC for my pops. The first one was fun, but I wanted to play the 2nd one and it lagged on me too much till it was unplayable. I didn't get into Diablo. To some people's concern about their disapointments. I think some people looked at Fallout 3 so hard that when Diablo 3 made an appearance, they expect, 3D graphics and something different. I never played Diablo long enough to expierence the story and I thought it was interesting from what I hear. I think it looks good, but I think there will be a lot more surprises to change many people's hearts in the long urn.

Good to hear their doing another one, I love the diablo franchise personally.

I have to complain though that its kind of lost is "fear factor" that was in the original diablo. Looking at the gameplay trailer for diablo 3 it seems more like an pure action game like hellgate london with no scariness to it, the original diablo was more of an action-horror.

Still I look forward to it
