    • I got this game for 2 weeks now, and i got to say i love it :) the game is getting massive changes thanks to the new boss in charge. almost all the old bugs, memory leaks, crashes are gone and the dev. teams are working hard to add more content.

    • Probably one of the nicest looking pieces of crap out on the market to date. Even if they fix everything thats wrong with it they still won't match up to WAR let alone WoW. It will however have a little cult following which isnt bad. One day there will be a great M rated mmo. AoC just wasn't that game.

    • Beautiful game....long time away from full potential.

    • A fun game overall, may have some flaws but they are, finally, being fixed. I resubscribed after playing WAR, and im having a lot of fun with Age of Conan.

    • With high anticipation I jumped into age of conan upon release. At first I was amazed: voice acting for every single quest, nice landscapes etc. etc. but then you play a bit further and you get to see the problems: directx10 support was delayed again and again. False promises of directx10 graphics. This feature should never have been anounced before the launch or after the launch unless they were within a month or 3 of implementing it. The most frustrating factor of the game: bugs! and did I mention bugs also? It's probably the game with the WORST support ever! I was playing a demonologist (caster). To start of: more then half your talents were either useless or they didn't function at all (i.e. bugged). This has been adressed by the community before the launch and after the launch in hundredfolds. Nothing has been done about it to this date (I checked). All that happens is some minor patches as a feeble attempt to keep you interested, but it simply won't. Spellweaving simply has been totally overhauled from its concepts during development (no combining of spells to create a cool imba effect, but some minor boosts which on a side effect kill you easily and you're imobalized while spellweaving, making all this useless in small scale pvp). Now if you're not a caster you'll probably have a fairly nice time. Casters are canon fodder and against other melee / archer classes you mostly face fairly matched fights. (mind you that part of the advantage of melee also comes from as yet unadressed bugs) The community: of course there's a couple of nice people, but in general pvp servers are made up by 14 year old frustrated kids who think PvP means you have to go out and kill as low level people as you can find. Though this might appeal to some people, it's pretty obvious that maturaty is far away. My advise: if you like roleplaying, rich world, many quests, go for lord of the rings online. If you like to be able to PvP but also do quests etc. with a very userfriendly play system, go for world of warcraft. I've played both those games at their start and they have 1 a LOT better support then AoC and 2 feel a lot more like finished products at the release already (AoC is if you ask me still in beta). Sorry for being this negative, but I just want to give you a realistic view and to warn you. This WAS a very promissing game that could have had a big impact on the MMORPG world if the developers had actually done what they promised.
