Just got back from the midnight showing of Clone Wars. Possible spoiler / questions below.....

I was suprised at how entertaining it was. I honestly didnt expect much, assuming from the commercials it was meant for kid appeal.

Anyway, question or speculation....

Skywalker's apprentice - what do you suppose happens to her ? She isnt seen nor mentioned in Episode 3. Do we assume she died along the way ? Maybe she made jedi knight but that seems unlikely as she was really too young as a padawan. Not enough time would have passed for her to advance to Knight.

Also, I read an article that mentions that Ahsoka was briefly seen as a subject of Queen Amidala. Is that right, I dont recall seeing anywhere else before.

And so this post belongs in this forum....will SWG see any thing tied in from the movie (i really dont care if this is answered) ?

Nice to see you like it, I'm a fan of star wars, but still not sure i can get myself to go see it. Maybe your questions are answered in one of the many star wars books. I had a friend that read them all and he would do on about the great jedi extermination, so more has to be there to be found. Wish I was of more help to you though.

Ah my favorite brain soup: cream of no where.

What''s the matter kid, don''t you like clowns?

What happens to Asajja?

I would have liked to have seen General Grievous. They're all scared of him in Episode 3, even though he gets his ass kicked by pretty much everyone. I was hoping the Good General would be allowed to kick ass in this flick.

What happened to Clone Commander Rex?

Sure they are. Almost all the Star Wars books are canon on some level.

I would expect most of the questions left open by the end of the film will be answered by the series that is supposed to be a continuation of the film.  Isn't it supposed to start within the next few months?

I actually enjoyed the film a lot.  At first I thought it was really stupid that they gave Anakin a padawan, but it actually works pretty well in the movie.   I think the safe assumption would be that she dies, but I wouldn't be suprised to see her disappear or something (get sent somewhere to be safe).

The movie is just a starting point for the new CGI animated TV series.  There is a very good chance that any questions left open by the film will be answered by the series.

The new series will have the same animation that the movie does.  It will be a direct continuation of the film.

The movie sucked. I understand that it was aimed at kids, but I was still expecting it to be relatively decent.

But the writing was terrible, the animation was bad, and of all the clone wars stories they could have told, this was the one they choose?

A 15 million opening weekend is pathetic for *any* Star Wars movie, but it was more than this particular movie deserved.
