    • I liked the sailing, didn't like the instances,SWG let you walk into buildings 6 years ago ,without EQ2 type instances,a pirate game without treasure hunts? I was thinking if Conan's land base and this game's sea sailing were were one engine ,it'd be super. They held off launch for years ,so money has to come in from somewhere. And SWG has been polishing for 5 years.

    • This game was not something I enjoyed. It was to ship oriented and not enough land/ combat for my taste. If you like EvE you will prob like this.

    • I like the ship combat in the game. For me, it was a really good ship combat simulator. The problem for me was the low population. I also had to ask myself...do I want to pay $14.99 a month for a ship combat simulator. I voted no on that, but I had some fun with it for a short while.

    • I'm with Enigma; I kind of feel sorry for him, too. The changes he described as in the works sounded like "too little, too late" to me.

    • If you were a PvE type of player the game lacked content, but if you liked RvR content you should of been happy. Definetly problems with getting simi-equal combat at times and the population for each side can cause problems. Overall a good game, but needs polish.

    • Like so many new launches it has some great ideas and even great gameplay at times. However like most MMO's it fails badly in other areas and it just grinds on you after a while. For me I left because I think any sailing game needs exploration and true crafting gameplay. I want to be able to be a specialist crafter to support the hardcore PvPers. So why even play when the hard core PvPers can craft just the same as everyone else?

    • I feel sorry for the guy. That game was just so bad. You can see the despair in his eyes where you can see his financial backdrop just crumbling around him.
  • Moriwenne(posted Thu Aug 28 2008)
    • Mr Russel Williams, that is in fact the game that everyone wants to play, the game we have right now is the game that everyone just wanted to get to know. But to continue paying subscriptions you need that stuff you are bringing to the game. Right now the game is a lot of grind port, fight uneven port battle, grind some more. Also the biggest issue with the game was not addressed, which is population problems. The eco needs it, the RVR needs it and ultimately if you don't have it the game just keep bleeding players, it's a big problem. The less players you have the more you lose. I still believe in the game, let's see what free trials brings.
