I was watching VH1 rescently, and I noticed that artists are getting back into the classical instruments rather then the typical 5 piece band. With Avril Lavigne using a chellow and piano, to new artists using acoustic guitars and pianos. I'm actually kind of glad at the shift since I no longer have to hear singers trying to yell three words constantly into a microphone and call it music. However, what element has effected this shift in music?
In rescent years I have started to see people on youtube playing beautiful peices on the piano. Not just any pieces though, they were playing game theme songs. Has the music industry shifted its focus thanks to the impactful music from Final Fantasy?
[insert more research here]
In any case my tastes in music have matured passed the constant noise of banging rythmically challenged on drums, and I welcome the better composed songs.

I like the idea of the spending freeze. Infact, I like the idea of making that idea permanent. Imagine it, a federal government who only finances the necessity; thats trillions of dollars. We can pay off the debt in only a couple of years, then afterwords decrease taxes to below 10%. Leave all the rest of the stuff the fed handles to the state. Thats how the constitution and the United States was designed. More power to states, let them make the state how they want it. Let the state be more socialist, and if you don't like it move to a different state. After all we aren't a communal mind, sometimes I don't wanna put money up so the fed can give it to wild-life researchers or bailing out corporations.Arrest that man! Hes making us see rationality in states-rights!
I think the idea is noble but the way McCain make it sounds is that we'd only spend money on war (research, defense), and veterans (whom mccain is). Why are veterans more important then education or healthcare?
States can run healthcare and education better then the fed. Its been proven a state can stretch a dollar much further since they have a limited amount of budget to work with. States wish they even had 700 Billion on thier budget. I would rather keep social programs at the local level where you get better support then with a suite in D.C.

I think a bit of it was rambling and out there like saying we are under martial law. However, I am also highly opposed to bail-outs and increasing the national debt. This plan was re-spun to be a credit to the people they are bailing out so they have to repay later. However, I still don't like it since it goes against the grain of capitalism and this is the result of putting capitalist ideals onto a socialist institution. They should have just let it be killed, or should have put more socialist legislation on it earlier. What I find offensive is that the original supporters on this bill were the very same figures who denounced regulation in 2003, 2005, and 2007 that caused this to happen. Chris Dodd and that other guy.
This bailout costs more then double how much is needed to take the entire world out of poverty.

Also Republican reporters have traditionally been opposed to McCain, and were until his nomination. Some of that negativity will push through. Its odd how party centric news stations have become. With many liberal sided stations that praised McCain for his bi-partisanship suddenly changed views and call him the second coming of Bush.
McCain used to get praise for being bi-partisan. He has recently been toeing the party line. McCain may be unpredictable, but he isn't stupid. If he knows one thing for sure it's that a "maverick" cannot win the republican nomination. Don't be fooled by his history, McCain is now a full fledged republican.
Campaign years are no judge for how a person will be as a president. Its what they do before that. In campaign years all campaigners will lie and change thier views to first win the nomination, then win the presidency. I think it should be obvious why McCain is following his party right now. He had to or else he would have never been endorsed by his party, and he has to continue or else they won't come to vote for him.
The reason why Democrats have changed thier view of McCain by quoting his campaign year record and completely disregarding 20 years is because they need those independants to vote for a guy who is not moderate in the slightest degree. On the other hand McCain represents the most moderate, and has polled well with independants in the primaries.
You can see this on how Obama has been changing his tune after becoming the Democratic nominee. Such as how he went from a complete withdrawl to a phased withdrawl, and from Universal Healthcare to Healthcare for adolescents. However, like I said its the passed for me that determines how they will be as president. Take for instance Obama's past record when he wasn't running. $900 million in earmark spending, 100% voting record for abortion including live-birth abortions, largest liberal voting record, and in Illinios his constituancy complained that he poorly represented them and went against his platform in the Illinios Senate.
The media on the other hand wants sensationalism, they want to put her down. They are making more of her position then is actually there. She at best will be an advisor for McCain in regards to energy, and make the tie breaking vote in the Senate. McCain is in good health and can survive his presidency according to his public medical records. Ontop of all this she is the most popular governor in US history despite contreversy on her experience and family. Its because of her performance in an executive role.
If your talking about the screen locking up then its a hardware issue. If you talking about being able to walk fine but hits not registering or getting pushed back to a point, then its lag. I will cover both cases in terms for morgs.
Hardware side. The most important things for games are the graphics card and the processor. In games today there is less used on the processor and more on the graphics card. For mmorpgs, they also make use of more memory. Considering you aren't computer savvy chances are you are running alot of background apps that eat away at your system causing the problem. My suggestion without changing your habits is to aim for more system memory and a quad processor.
A problem with your last computer is that it was a laptop. Laptops are highly limited in the gaming realm and they cannot offer what matters most. You obviously aren't computer savvy, so I have run a search on newegg to generate a list of desktops that would suit your needs.
Power Searched PCs. Note that not all the ones are 64-bit since I couldn't weed it out of the list so you have to pay attention to that. Also price is not important. All the PCs in this list will run all mmorpgs beautifully. Also as with all shipping, some parts may have come out of place. So you would need to check on that if it doesn't boot up when plugged in. Things like video-card and memory dimms not fully pushed in, or wires not plugged in.
Here is how I eliminated the criteria.
Processors: Intel Core 2 Duo/Quad, or AMD Phenom over 2.0ghz.
Memory: 4GB or more of DDR2.
Video Card: nVidia 8800GT, 9600, 9800, 9800 GX2, GTX260, GTX280; or ATI HD2900, HD3850, HD3870, HD3870X2, HD4650, HD4670, HD4850, HD4870, HD4870X2
Internet Connection: This would be associated with getting pushed back, or you can move but nothing else updates. The most common culprit is using a WiFi connection. Wireless will have a bad connection since it is subject to worse interference from metal, glass, and electricity. Another is your anti-virus if you are using Norton of Mcafee. Both are bloat-ware that rob your system of resources and limit your connection. I recommend NOD32 for anti-virus. Lastly there is your firewall or port-forwarding of your router. However, if you can get in the game this isn't the actual cause since it disbars the connection entirely. Your internet connection is the lowest culprit for mmos since they typically use much less. You can actually play most on a 12.2K modem. Other online games will require more.
