  • Simple, it s nothing like alot of people were expecting. Design flaw of giving better exp/renown for scenarios, oh hell even having those stupid instanced FPS type things in a game thats meant to be ORVR. I was in beta and ORVR was all over and i thought wow this is what i remember of DAOC, well it could have been like that but Mythic screwed it up by putting those damn things in this game. I won t return till either they remove them or make servers without them. Also some other fixes but no need to go into that since scenarios are my main beef.

    By group tactics you mean zerging?  Because, that's ALL I saw any time I played in any scenario.  I had to practically beg pugs to at least consider targeting the healers.

    
     

    I remeber while i was playing WAR, everytime in a scenario or ORVR, i would say need 2 dps to follow me. We would flank the enemies and take out theuir healers. I couldn t beleive how many people didn t ever try this. I would get damn that worked great lets do it again. Never realized how many people just ran around completely lost with no idea what to do until i played WAR.

  • I realize I and many people have sent feedback regarding "Origins" server, but we really want anything. Honestly even though you said you got great response regarding this server, I don t think you realize how big it could be. MMOs today are well IMO garbage. What DAOC had in the OF days and no TOA was magical. People want to know whats going on. We all just want a sign, anything, i think this isn t too much to ask. We as the real MMO players want our one true love back and thats DAOC in it s original form. No need to mess with it, make it a little different, just what it once was. I play MMO s with my wife and she loves DAOC, but never once played it as it was in it s original form. All she saw of it was watching me from time to time as she was playing a different MMO. She couldn t beleive how into it i was. I want her to see why i was so into it. Please Mythic, give us, your true fans this great game back.

    Customer for many years, and want to be again.

  • Want to save this game. Re sell it as DAOC2 but box DAOC from OF times up to SI and update graphics a bit. Just end this game already.
