I'd really really like to know when EU players are going to get a herald and realm status web site? Goa have manged to get people in game but the web site is limping along.
Please ask jacobs to put some pressure on next time you talk. The EU clearly has a far inferior experience outsdie the game world itself.
Guess its crucnh time with WARS release. I have to say I played since the preview weekend and having a blast. The PVP is pretty awsome and just gets better as you move up tiers. Still hope you guys are enjoying AoC...my anger at FC has disipated somewhat as I am having more fun more fun in WAR than I have had in a MMORPG than I have had for a long ong time.
I thought they sold 700k boxes? (Shipped a mill or so). Registrations where a little under 450k (from memory). It's in the shareholders report.
That figure was as of end of July. I really don't think they have maintaied that.
It's not just about budget its about vision too. If you just keep producing the same tired old content with bigger bosses and and extra +32 on a sword ...well....dull. This formula isn't cost effective (unless you are at the top) either. You need to put systems and tools in place to support player controled potics ecomies etc. and have the players generate there own 'content'. War is going in that direction in a limited way.
