Yea, back in 2004 I once did 72 hours straight on WoW when it first released.
There was a reason I was the 5th lvl 60 Warlock on Mannoroth(First 60 lock hit about a day before).
Ya know I never even thought about EQ2, and I played the hell out of EQ.
Heh, I think ill check that out.
Alright so let me start off. I have always played a pet class, a caster style pet class. From EQ, to WoW, to the "demon"ologist of AoC.
Right now I am looking for a good game to play. I have played most of the big current MMOs: WoW, AoC, WAR, etc.
I really am not a fan of F2P games, I prefer something with some sort of serious financial backing. So I am mainly looking into LOTR, DDO, Vangaurd, perhaps even SWG. I also prefer games with decent PvP, and from what I hear LOTRO uses some strange form of PvP where you cant playyour character.
Anyhow does anyone have any good ideas for new games I should check out or perhaps some older ones that may have gotten better since I left(im looking at you AoC)...
I left the game shortly after the free month ended.
I was a lvl 23 Warrior Priest, with several other mid teens Order characters. So has anythign changed since then? Are the classes any more balanced? is Open world RVR actually happening or is it still in a guild v guild keep sieges only?
Is leveling still a ridiculous chore post 20?
I have to agree with the OP.
I find myself logging in rarely and when I do its not for more then an hour or so. Heck I have had 2 days off work and have only put in maybe 2 or 3 hours into WAR. This is coming from someone who used to put in 10 hours a day in MMOs(although perhaps it was just that I was younger and had the time...)
Still, I find that past about 20 XP slows to a crawl from quests, I mean hell I was getting 3k per quest at 13 why am I still getting that at 23? PQs are completely dead in tier 3, but I suppose I can attribute that to the lack of players at those levels, and I am on a med/med pop server(Drifting Castle).
Still if I just wanted to play scenarios all day I would fire up my 360 and go play Gears or COD4 or something.
