  • Are we really surprised by this announcement ?

    Name me one single MMO that has FPS combat with 25,000+ players.....

    You cant.

    Richard and company spent like 7-8 years making this game ? I played it for 2 hrs and threw it in the trash. It was nothing more than a console shooter game with a subscription fee.

    Im with you.

    SOE wont get any of my money ever again for any MMO until they can prove that another NGE wont happen.

    The article fails on one serious issue....

    MMO's are about investing time and money into your avatar. SOE blatently and purposely violated this cardinal rule of MMO's. Why should I ever play any of their MMO's again if theyre willing to take my subscription money and in essence steal it ? I and 200,000 other players had our money used to create the abomination of the NGE.

    It still pisses me off that current NGE players are enjoying a game developed on my stolen dime. And I dont care how long it takes, SOE gets nothing until Smedley is gone and I see real changes in how they treat players

  • This game has fps combat ? yuck....

    smart move considering all fps type MMO's are flops.

    I can forgive bad graphics. I can let bad animations skip by, I can even live with another fantasy setting but fps combat ?

    Im gonna pass on this one

  • according to this new article, Bioware has solved the issue with seeing other players running around with your companion. They wont mention how though....

How? Procedurally generated party hats? He laughs: "I can't tell you how, but we've solved it."
     

    Umm whats up with all the secrecy Bioware ? Is it really such a big deal to explain how you solved this problem ? Or should we just trust you ?

  • I registered on your site but Im having trouble logging in.

    It says I need to enable cookies but I dont really know how to allow a specific cookie past my Micro-PC illin software

    I went into internet tools / options and checked allow sessions cookies but it didnt help any. I put in lotusfleet website for sites that are allowed cookies also but again it didnt help.

    short of lowering my entire internet privacy section (its on medium now), i dont see how to log in

    Also I tried filling out an application. It says I must be registered first, which I am. When I click the link for application it says "you do not have permission to perform this action". Its under a section for turning in a ticket which is kinda confusing.

    I then tried requesting my password so I could reset it and start over. I never got the password sent to my email account and yes I did check under my provider's spam mail area. It didnt show up there either. I did get the email to reset my password and i did click the link. From there it says my password has been reset and i should receive an email with the new password. I havent received that email yet
