      Solo play should be the least desirable and rewarding path to take.

      EQ2 is on the way out, SOE are bawbags!


       

      you pretty much summed up my feelings on this game.  EQ2 has been NGE'd but it was a very slow process.  I quit the game because I just never got a thrill from an awesome group anymore... or had an awesome group.

      I did love my brig/swashy and necro though back in the day.

      Choose from three detailed maps for loads of action!

      Three tiny maps, less than 99% of the games content, are getting 99% of the play in this game.  That is epic fail.

      Making new servers with no scenarios or having a huge nerf of xp and reknown would be a start, but it's almost too late.  They are combining servers from lack of players already.  I doubt they will open new servers.  And most of the people left in this game are the people that just play scenarios all day anyway.  Nerfing the one thing they actually play in this game wouldn't go over well.

    • Black Temple, Hyjal... you name it, the ret pally in our guild was doing insane dps.  Topped everyone by at least 500 dps.   They had to nerf these guys, sorry pallys, but that is just not right.  You wear plate, can tank, you heal, you top the dps charts by huge amounts...  there has to be reasons to play another class besides paladins :p

    • If you actually beta tested the Shadow Warrior in War read here....
    • SW was alot more powerful in beta, but still a bit underpowered to where I think they belong.  Off the top of my head, here is some things SW had in beta that they dont now.. 10 sec snare cooldown, there was some awesome tactics that got nerfed all to hell too.  Like one that made eagle eye a 1 sec cast. 

      They seemed to do alot more dmg with much better kiting skills, mostly because of the quicker snare.  They probably saw some SW solo kiting heros and that was that.

      when the game went live I was so excited to roll my shadow warrior, it was the most fun class I played in open beta.  That was major dissapointment when I realized my SW was nerfed all to hell.  /reroll BW

      Thing is, they were still subpar to the wizzies in beta, yet still got the nerf.. go figure..  GG Mythic

    • OP has echoed my thoughts as well. 

      WAR, or ScenarioHammer as someone here once accurately dubbed it, is fatally flawed right now.  They need to make a new server that does not have any scenarios. I'm shelving the game until then or until something happens to drive people out of scenarios, which encompasses about .1% of the game content =/.  I really get bummed out thinking how fun this game could have been without these scenarios.  The PQs are such a great...wasted idea.  The RVR was tons of fun, when people actually played... even if it has its problems. 

      The thing about ScenarioHammer is it absolutely requires an active population outside of the scenarios for it to truly play to its potential. (PQ, Keeps, group PVE)  That is just not happening right now.
