    what is fishy about mortal? people seem to thinks it's vaporware just because it has similar features to darkfall. reposting this here to "convince" you that it is a real mmo that is in development.

     

    1) they are using unreal engine 3. epic games doesn't license their products to companies that are not well funded as it would look bad on their engine if they didn't make a quality game.

    here's a quote from mark rein, vice president of epic games.

    “We're excited that new developers like Star Vault, who have such great potential, are recognizing the value of licensing Unreal Engine 3. We know this is the way they can realize their creative ambitions quickly and deliver great games to market. Some of the most significant companies in the game business have licensed Unreal Engine 3 to build their MMO games and Star Vault has now joined an illustrious group. We'll be watching their progress with great interest."

    2) starvault is listed on the swedish stock exchange.

    3) they will be at the leipzig games convention in august showing mortal online.

     

     

     

    i just looked at their website, the game looks MOST impressive. i was seriously hooked just by that opening movie.

  • lol, i cant believe you are letting your girlfriend choose your hobbies, or what you can and cant do in life. *hears a whip in the background* if my wife ever made me stop doing something i love to do (eg, play games) then she would no longer be my wife, end of story.

  • are the servers down or something? i try to log in and it does the authentication failure thing. i know i am not putting in the wrong password, either. (and yes caps is off)
