I too have played all three of your choices thoroughly and enjoyed all for a time. For pvp, wow is going to be your best choice. I had fun with Lotro at first but got fairly bored around level 30 and quit. I'm playing Vanguard after a 12 month hiatus after playing for a month a launch and am having a great time. pvp is pretty much non-existant in vg but that's not what i'm playing for. yes there are some issues with the game but surprisingly, it's the best thing available within the mmorpg genre at this time. you can pickup a copy online on ebay or amazon for about $5.
i'd try all three and choose the one you enjoy most. for me at the moment it's vanguard.
if you previosuly subscribed, you can download the client at the link below, it's free to play throught the end of the month for former subscribers:
i hear ya. supposedly, the update next month is going to correct that problem. we'll see i guess.
I really think mmorpg should give this game a new review, anyone else think the same?
i'm having a blast
I played the game at launch for about 3 weeks and cancelled due to the crazy number bugs and my machine couldn't handle the game in its current state. the game was not ready for launch, that was pretty obvious. anyway...
I logged into my account last week (since soe gave me 30 days free or whatever, they sooo nice lol) and jumped on my level 14 bard. One week later I have cancelled my conan account.
Also, just fyi, a free trial is going to be available within the next few weeks, I think this is really going to bring a lot of new people into the game. I totally recommend trying it out,. or just wait to the free trial. they have done a great job of fixing many of the bugs and I can even run the game on high settings. i'm staying here for a while, for now.
How many hours per day do you play MMORPGs?
