The LEGO Group debuted a new behind-the-scenes video for the upcoming MMOG (massively multiplayer online game), LEGO Universe, during Games Convention Developers Conference. The video provides a look at how The LEGO Group is working with its fan community to create LEGO Universe, and reveals new art images from the game.

    • I've seen some good things from netdevil and some things gone waaaay south of my expectations, but It's definitely interesting to see something as open-ended as legos turned into an online experience.

    • ninja's :) sounds like its going to to have a hell of a lot of diffrent kinds of terain, (a bit like the stargate game coming out) worth a try (and im guessing no monthly free coz its for the kids XD

    • The developers seem very nice and the game has a nice idea. I also liked the other lego games. Can't wait for this! :)

    • Yep i hope, ppl will have chance to make theyr own things ingame, from lego bricks, something like Second Life, but all from bricks, without knowledge of tricky scripting..

    • Yay! I really like NetDevil, they've taken chances in the past that too many developers are afraid to make--great to see this video and how things are progressing for them.

    • He he I heard they also add some of the lego current online features like if you build something in the game with your friends you can then order it as boxed set from Lego. :)

    • Interesting, the Lego adult in you will play. The Lego Star Wars games rocked, so I can totally see this as an MMORPG.
