Lost Ark, Amazon’s MMOARPG has just launched a spooky new October update, titled Mystics and Mayhem.
Hopefully your have sobered up from Arktoberfest, because Lost Ark jsut got a bunch of new updates, challenges, and rewards in the Mystics and Mayhem update. Launched just last night, this extra addition to Lost Ark introduces a ton of new content for the heroes of Arkesia.
New Raids
The headline heroics of the latest update includes three new raids. A new time limited event will open up the Mystic Abyss Raid for anybody brave enough to face it. This new experience puts players up against the Guardian Mystic. This powerful foe has started to cast dangerous mists from the permeated chaos. Players are tasked with stopping this act. Along the way groups will battle through three gates, to loot event tokens. This limited currency can be exchanged for special rewards. This particular avenue for shiny stuff will be open right now until 16 November.
Following the Haloween appropriate raid, the Vykas Legion Raid gets an Inferno level. Taking existing Legion Raids and turning up the difficulty, this is the most challenging tier of all Legion Raids. The Inferno scale doesn’t care about rewards like gear or materials. Inferno rewards instead showcase your victory with titles, achievements, and Stronghold structures. If you’re interested in testing yourself then form up with Item level 1460 or above.
Finally, the Achtaes Trial Guardian instance is similar in difficulty to the Inferno level, but with some variations. Getting in requires a little more work, with build changes via the in game ‘Book of Coordination’. In addition to some prestigious rewards, the Trial Guyarian drops an exclusive title like the Inferno Raids, this drops a Legendary Title as well as an in game title for a region first. If you want that then I’d suggest getting in quickly.

Players looking for something a bit different, and less punishing, can take part in the Aldebaran Harvest Festiva. The God of Life comes to the realm for this event, celebrating simply being alive. The event is situated at Mokomoko Night Market and has a short pre-requisite questline. Participating in the activities will unlock Card Packs, Honing Support Selection Chests, and more between now and 7 December. Of course, Halloween and video games means a bunch of other festive extras on the in game store, while the selection isn’t all spooky, You’ll maybe want to have a look at the Halloween Pets, Stronghold Structures, and the Pumpkin Carriage Mount for a decidedly different entrance.
