During Gamescom 2026 Opening Night Live, developer MBC Game Studio had been on hand to reveal its debut title, the epic action-adventure 1001 Threads of Mizan.
The events of the game take place within the rich world of One Thousand and One Nights. In the brand-new lore trailer above, players will be able to hear the tale of the Fisherman and the King, told by the famed Storyweaver Shahrazad, to learn more about the upcoming game

About 1001 Threads of Mizan:
Soar across mythic landscapes on nimble flying carpets, battle colossal jinn that tower above the world, and unravel a tale of betrayal that threatens to tear the world apart. Inspired by One Thousand and One Nights, this is a shared journey where exploration, combat, and storytelling are woven into a single, unforgettable experience.
United by Shahrazad, three unlikely heroes, Yusra, Malik and Sufyan, will rediscover the lost power of the Mizan in a quest to take down an ancient jinn king before his thirst for vengeance destroys humanity. It’s a journey made to be shared: built for up to three players with drop-in, drop-out co-op, you and your friends can take to the skies on flying carpets to bring down jinn of colossal scale together.
The game is developed and published by MBC Game Studio, composed of developers from BioWare, Hi-Rez, Ubisoft Montréal and Bungie.
