Geo Seed Games and Luckycalf have announced a forthcoming playtest weekend for their ambitious MMORPG, Never Wither. Interested players are invited to head to Steam to apply for inclusion in the weekend’s events. The playtest will begin on Friday, May 29th, and end on Monday, June 1st. Players will be able to explore the game’s first region, called the Valley. According to the developers, this will provide a 3-5 hour peek at game systems, environments, and gameplay action.
Never Wither Features
- Explore the World, Cleanse the Corruption: From lush river valleys to windswept plateaus, from frozen ice fields to scorching volcanic waste. Every corner of the continent of Edda is inhabited by fantastical creatures. However, a dark corruption stemming from the World Tree has tainted them. Embark on a journey of exploration and purification, and become the last hope for this land.
- Collect Creatures, Incarnate, and Fight: From all-devouring Oozes to Mudballs that transform into farmland; from swift Wolf Warriors to stone giants who uproot trees as weapons. Purify these corrupted beings in the name of the World Tree. Incarnate as your companions, utilizing their unique combat skills and abilities, defeat bosses with precise maneuvers!
- Train Companions, Defeat Foes: Combine and fuse the abilities of different creatures to raise a powerful team of companions. Encounter rare, special individuals with unique appearances or traits.
Gear up and venture into secret realms to find relics, conquer enemies, unlock powerful spells, and facilities. - Build Temples, Manage Settlements: Gather resources and unleash your creativity to construct grand, fully-functional temples. Your companions are vital. They will gather, transport, farm, and defend against threats. Some can even transform into unique buildings. Manage your residents and evolve your survival camp into a thriving, prosperous home.
- Establish Clans, Expand Territory: Form Clans with friends to build a powerful kingdom, engage in intense PVP battles, and seize fertile territories. Beyond official servers, you can also host private servers with customized rules to enjoy a personalized building and adventuring experience.
