Loric Games dropped an exciting new reveal ahead of the upcoming high-altitude adventure Echoes of Elysium. The new reveal dropped during IGN Live, another in the recent glut of gaming events, and potential crew got a look at the in-game action.
The first look at Echoes of Elysium transported the audience at IGN’s trailer fest to a mythical world where Icarus probably wouldn’t have such a bad time. This beautifully painted video showed off the range of floating islands that pepper the skyscape of the game, and the wood punk aesthetic of the airships. A wild array of modern technology, mythical flight, and wooden sea shanty, these vessels are crafted using wit, determination, and a range of survival mechanics. Players picking up the challenge will find themselves playing alone or with friends to build your fleet of airships. Fight to survive against a myriad of airborne enemies! If you wanted more from Guns of Icarus then this could be for you.
Mixing survival mechanics with this scoring twist makes this unique amalgamation of ideas distinct from the competition. Maybe you’ve piloted a player-made construct before, but the idea of taking the likes of Last Oasis up into magical heights is worth at least a watch.
