Developer RibCage Games is back with an exciting announcement: the updated Steam demo for rhythm action-adventure Alpha Nomos is available now for all music lovers!
If you haven’t heard about Alpha Nomos, check out the game’s Steam page and our demo preview to find out more.
Players diving into the demo can find the new Powerup Evolution system that opens a wide variety of builds and playstyles, with every upgrade changing the music of your run. Additionally, there’s a new sense of meta progression with the Maestro’s Move Shop. Collect fragments in the world and bring them to Maestro to unlock new skills and combos that carry between runs.
Other demo additions and changes include:
New Levels & Environments – New combat levels and special NPC encounter levels have been added. Existing levels have received lighting improvements and more visual variation throughout.
UI Overhaul – All in-game UI has been significantly upgraded. The powerup UI now clearly shows upgrade tiers and evolution paths, and the overall visual language has been brought in line with the game’s aesthetic.
Revamped Dialogue System – The dialogue system has been rebuilt to be more immersive. NPC encounter levels in particular feel much more grounded in the world of Alpha Nomos.
