Amanda the Adventurer 2 is out now on PC via Steam.
One of the most unexpected horror hits of recent years has a follow up. Available now on PC, via Steam, the follow up to the 2023 interactive 90s-style children’s cartoon puzzler is ye another trip into the macabre. Rather than leave the attic and its secrets well alone, MANGLEDmaw Games and horror publisher DreadXP will allow us to follow Riley Park to Kensdale Public Library, where the investigation into a cursed children’s TV show continues.
Picking up just moments after the encounter with Amanda that led to the destruction of the television in the attic of the first instalment, this experience moves on to a public library, a mysterious figure, and a hunt for something Aunt Kate left behind. Much like before, Amanda’s fate plays out on old school video tape. Reality and recording blur as players get to talk directly to Amanda and influence her fate. The new addition to this collection also includes new areas of the real world, new friends, and a n even weirder expansion to the lore.
Amanda The Adventurer 2 is the second part of an odd yet enthralling 90s themed interactive horror puzzler that is firmly rooted in its 90’s aesthetic. Mixing odd Videodrome surrealism with a seemingly unthreatening spin on Dora made this tale a cult hit when it first appeared, Now, save Amanda from whatever the heck is going on via the official Steam Store now.
