As summer arrives and Prime Day approaches, Amazon is giving Luna subscribers and Prime members plenty of reasons to stay inside. The June 2026 content update brings a mix of new cloud-streamed games, an exclusive Masters of the Universe release, a hefty batch of downloadable PC titles, and a significant discount on the Luna Controller.
The headline addition this month is Masters of the Universe: Legends Unite, arriving June 5 as an exclusive Luna GameNight title. Timed to coincide with the upcoming Masters of the Universe film release, the couch co-op experience brings heroes and villains from Eternia together for a blend of card battles, cooperative play, and competitive challenges. It continues Luna’s recent push into accessible party games that can be played using a television and smartphones, making it easy to get family and friends involved without extra hardware.
Beyond Eternia, June adds several standout titles to the Luna Standard catalog. Hollow Knight: Voidheart Edition joins the service, giving players access to one of the most acclaimed indie Metroidvanias of the last decade. Capcom’s Mega Man 11 also arrives, bringing the Blue Bomber’s modern return to Luna subscribers, while the frenetic retro-inspired shooter ULTRAKILL rounds out the month’s major additions.
PC gamers also get several new titles to download and keep this month. June’s Prime Gaming lineup includes an impressive 15 PC titles spanning multiple genres. Nostalgia fans can revisit Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered, strategy players can dive into XCOM: Chimera Squad, and crime drama enthusiasts can pick up Mafia III: Definitive Edition. Later in the month, players can also claim titles such as Terraforming Mars, Paradise Killer, Lost Eidolons: Veil of the Witch, and several escape room adventures.
Amazon is also tying the update into its annual Prime Day promotion. From June 23 through June 26, Prime members can save 43% on the Amazon Luna Controller, potentially making it one of the most affordable entry points into cloud gaming during the sale period.
While Luna continues to compete in an increasingly crowded cloud gaming market, updates like this demonstrate Amazon’s strategy. Rather than relying solely on blockbuster releases, Luna is building value through a combination of rotating cloud games, exclusive content, and the growing collection of downloadable Prime Gaming rewards. June’s lineup may be one of the strongest examples of that approach so far.
