For years developer Croteam and publisher Devolver Digital have been hard at work on Serious Sam titles, releasing games like Serious Sam VR: The Last Hope and Serious Sam’s Bogus Detour. Well we got another treat from the team with the official announcement of Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass.
This is the first new mainline entry in the series since Serious Sam 3: BFE in 2011. According to the game’s developers, Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass will retain the series’ classic over-the-top action with hordes of enemies and super powerful weapons, but will do so on a much bigger scale than previous entries.
While details on the project are currently quite scarce, Croteam and Devolver Digital are promising to reveal more about the game later this year at E3 2018. Until then, this short announcement trailer will have to do.
