Studio Wildcard has launched one of the largest content updates in ARK: Survival Ascended’s history. The expansion featuring three major additions including remaster of the original story, DLC and premium expansion pass. Moreover, the main jewel of the update becomes a massive ocean biome powered by ARK’s first-ever physics-driven water system. ARK: Dragontopia and Tides of Fortune available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).

Genesis Ascended Part I (Free)
A complete remaster of the original story expansion featuring:
- Ocean Biome: Massive map-wide ocean biome with dynamic waves, realistic buoyancy, and chaotic ocean warfare. Command your own sailing ship.
- Palaeoctopus: Cliff-climbing cephalopod with crushing tentacles that can seize dual targets and provide limitless colored ink.
Tides of Fortune DLC
Premium naval-themed DLC transforming the ARK universe into a naval battlefield.
- Naval Fleet: Customizable seaworthy vessels including the swift Sloop and towering Brigantine. Build out decks, paint hulls, fly Jolly Rogers, and sail into battle.
- Ship Combat: Manual broadside cannon aiming. Specialty ammo includes Incendiary and Corrosive Cannonballs. Playable solo or cooperative multiplayer.
- Ship Skill Tree: Three skill trees – Piracy, Merchant, and Luxury.
New Creatures:
- Tidepup: Semi-aquatic salamander. Juvenile form is a shoulder-pet providing defense and dispelling negative effects. Mature form is a rideable mount with a regenerative healing zone.
- Parrot: Treasure-tracking companion.
- Story: Cinematic story moments with Karl Urban as Bob and Auli’i Cravalho as Meeka. “Cinematic Bob” features Urban’s likeness and voice.
ARK: Dragontopia (Premium Expansion Pass)
An all-new dragon-focused adventure with content updates through December, culminating in a new skyworld map.
- Eclipsar Umbra: Legendary obsidian terror that strikes with unpredictable speed. Can rain precision plasma from darkness or slip through the void.
- Dragon Skill Tree: New progression system for strengthening bonds with dragons. Customize abilities including gravity-defying acrobatics, shadow-forged plasma attacks, and defensive auras.
- Drake Claw Grappler: Essential tool for high-altitude traversal and midair dragon mounting.
- Draconic Armor: Cosmetic set for dragonriders.
- Future Updates: Additional dragons in the coming weeks and months, culminating in a massive world map in December.
