Arknights: Endfield, an upcoming free-to play ARPG, took part in Gamescom 2025 with a special trailer. The game is developed by Hypergryph for PC, PlayStation 5, as well as iOS and Android mobile devices.
The events of the game take place on a dangerous planet called Talos-II, a world of natural disasters and frequent crises. It is up to players, acting on behalf of the Final Earth Industry, to explore this area. In the process, you will also encounter and learn more about the supernatural phenomenon called the Erosion, which distorts environments and creates dangerous phenomena.
The protagonist of Arknights: Endfield is the Endministrator of the Endfield Industries. According to the records, they are a guardian who protected civilization and saved humanity from multiple disasters. However, the Endmin’s identity remains elusive and only a handful of people have seen the legend in person. The Endministrator’s mysterious mastery over Originium and the Protocol network, along with the Endmin’s need for periodic long-term hibernation, is one of Endfield’s most important secrets.
However, there’s more than just exploration, secrets, and combat. It is up to you to tame Talos-II, and to do that you need to build a base. Base-building comes as a culmination of both exploration and resource management. The system requires the correct routing of electricity, assigning inputs and outputs, and managing various material types for crafting.
