Ubisoft has announced another patch for the recently released Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. Update 1.0.4 drops on July 16, 14:00 UTC / 10:00 AM EST / 7:00 AM PST. It brings many changes, including improvements in performance and stability. The developers’ team listens closely to the community and attentively reads every bug report submitted by players. They aim to make the game experience sharper and more immersive than ever before.

Main Fixes
- Performance and Stability: Multiple save/load issues resolved, performance boosted, and stability tightened across all platforms.
- Visuals and Lighting: No more floating bushes or pitch-black caverns. Fixed lighting issues indoors and underground.
- PC Cutscenes: Cutscenes will now play at proper framerates even when graphics settings are set to ‘Custom’.
- Parkour: Advanced parkour no longer allows unintended double jumps.
Gameplay Tweaks
- Ship upgrades at the dock no longer cause the Jackdaw to vanish.
- Harpooning and boarding actions no longer lock the player out of controls.
- Civilians have been politely escorted out of Brawl zones.
- Edward’s hands are back in action during minigames.
- Dodge the Humpback Whale’s deadly tail slap with proper timing.
World and Quests
- Fast Travel now works as intended.
- Animus walls no longer block progression in key quests.
- Fog will now actually appear. Weather rebalanced for more sun and clear skies.
- Fixed Quest progression blockers in “The Observatory,” “A governor no longer,” and others
Visuals and Audio
- Clipping issues for characters and outfits have been addressed.
- Texture issues on side characters corrected.
- Fixed Body drop audio.
