The developer Kenny Sun and publisher Devolver Digital have announced the release date for BALL x PIT first major update. Titled The Regal Update, it brings content expansion to the game, including new characters, balls and features. The update comes on 26 January, free for every owner of the game. However, that’s not all. The team promises more surprises, but don’t share any details yet.

- Two new treasure seekers: The Carouser: Wields balls that orbit around him. The Falconer: Commands two falcons that throw balls on her behalf.
- Expanded Arsenal: 8 new balls with unique properties.

BALL x PIT is a base building survival roguelite, featuring brick-breaking and ball fusion mechanics.Players have to defend their stronghold, fighting enemies thought the balls ricocheting, while gathering the treasures. To survive they need to expand their homestead, produce resources and recruit an army of unique units.
