Over the past weekend that marked Battlefield 6 Open Beta, players collectively destroyed nearly $70 billion of equipment and real estate in the game. There are destruction receipts to prove it! The bigger the chaos, the longer the number on the receipt.
“Each receipt itemizes destruction based on real-world figures down to the dollar, providing a concrete record of every shattered wall, demolished tank, destroyed jet, and leveled building.”
The developers have announced that if players manage to break more stuff, reaching a total of $1 trillion damage over the next phase of Open Beta kicking off this Thursday, they will unlock an exclusive “Community Destruction Skin” for the M/60. Participating is easy – players simply post a destruction gameplay clip to X (formerly Twitter) or Instagram by using #BF6Receipts and tagging @battlefield. Receipts are available at destruction.battlefield.com within 24 hours.
The developers describe the open beta as the biggest Battlefield beta yet. Get ready to fight, win, and make your mark with the new Kinesthetic Combat System. On these battlefields, fighter jets, tanks, skydiving RPGS, heavy artillery, and high-intensity infantry combat will become one.
