Remember last month right around this time when we let you know that you could snag some free Battlefield 1 DLC – part of EA’s road of Battlefield V promotions. Well, guess what!? You can get some more now. If you missed last months, well that sucks. You lose… forever. The good news is you can snag yourself some shiny new (old?) DLC for both Battlefield 1 (Turning Tides) and Battlefield 4 (Second Assault) if you hop on it now!
Battlefield 1’s Turning Tides, the DLC focusing on naval battles and beach landings, is currently available completely free for players on PS4, and Xbox One. Turning Tides introduced the Royal Marines factions, four multiplayer maps, the Infiltrator Elite Class and a new Operation.
Second Assault, the Battlefield 4 expansion featuring remade classic Battlefield maps, is also part of the same promotion. Second Assault includes remastered versions of Caspian Border, Operation Firestorm, Operation Metro, and the Gulf of Oman.
Right now PC players are left out with the freebies only available to PlayStation and Xbox users. (They have to feel superior somehow right? I joke…) Origin should update their prices soon, however, if last months promotion was any indication of how events will unfold. This promo should last at least a week but we are waiting on official confirmation from EA.
