Stunlock, developer of the PVP arena game, Battlerite announced yesterday that the arena brawler would be introducing its new competitive Seasons system starting March 7th. The Seasons update promises to bring in new content and features including leaderboards, pre-game lobby for League play and seasonal rewards based on daily quest completion as opposed to the end of the season rankings.
The goal with season one, according to Peter Llves, director at Stunlock Studios, is to focus in on the competitive side of Battlerite while still providing a rewarding experience for more casual players as well. Seasons will stretch a period of 10 weeks with a new season starting every 2-3 months. Also revealed was a beautifully created animated short that teases a new hero that will be released with the upcoming Season Patch.
