Free to play mecha brawler Steel Hunters begins Early Access 2 April 2025.
Get in the robot, grab a weapon, and begin blowing stuff up today in Wargaming’s brand new IP, Steel Hunters. Early Access for the big war machine starts on 2 April 2025, via Steam, and gives players a chance to get in first and experience the clash of metal against metal. Prepare to pilot giant weapons platforms across a range of terrains and get out with all of the glory and resources.
The Early Access unlock means player can suit up, use incredible weapons, and generally stomp about in a variety of powerful robots. Drop into an extraction shooter where the local NPCs and the other players are out to turn you into scrap. Pilots have one ally in this adventure, teaming up with another competitor to level up, acquire gear, and dominate the battlefield, all before getting out alive. Between taking down other mecha and blowing away the landscape, you’ll need to collect resources and find the extraction point to make it.
Pilot and customize seven Hunters, each with unique abilities: Razorside, Heartbreaker, Fenris, Ursus, Trenchwalker, Prophet, and Weaver. A new Hunter will enter the fray during the Early Access. Survey a total of three maps, each with their own destructible environment, and try out the Early Access Battle Pass if you want to throw some cash around and look extra glam.
Steel Hunters looks to be more than a Gundam knock off, with a range of unique concepts, from bipedal robots to big cats, and more. With the experience of making tanks go boom, I’m sure Wargaming will make this an intense experience. Check out more on the official website.
