Bethesda Announces Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition

War never changes… but Fallout 4 sure has. During this year’s Fallout Day 2025 broadcast, Bethesda Game Studios announced the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, marking ten glorious, irradiated years since the Lone Survivor first stepped out of Vault 111 and into the blasted remains of the Commonwealth. Launching November 11, 2025, this definitive edition of Fallout 4 celebrates a decade of vault-dwelling adventures, bringing together every bit of content the game has ever seen, along with some shiny new upgrades that make surviving the wasteland better than ever.

The Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition will include the base game, all six official DLC expansions (Automatron, Wasteland Workshop, Far Harbor, Contraptions Workshop, Vault-Tec Workshop, and Nuka-World), plus all next-gen updates released earlier this year. That means native 4K resolution, support for up to 60 FPS in performance mode, faster load times, and enhanced stability across PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. PC players will also enjoy full compatibility with the Creation Club and Bethesda.net mod system, allowing for endless community creativity, from high-definition textures to entirely new storylines. Bethesda confirmed that all current Fallout 4 owners will receive these performance updates for free, ensuring no one is left behind in the irradiated dust.

In true Bethesda fashion, this new edition isn’t just about polishing up the power armor; it’s about giving fans a reason to dive back in. The Anniversary Edition includes a digital art book, behind-the-scenes developer commentary, and a new Pip-Boy skin designed specifically to commemorate the milestone. Perhaps most exciting for collectors, Bethesda hinted that physical commemorative items, including an Anniversary Edition Collector’s Tin and Vault-Tec certificate of survival, will be available in limited quantities through the Bethesda Gear Store.

This announcement caps off a landmark year for the Fallout franchise. Following the massive success of Amazon Prime Video’s Fallout series, anticipation for Season 2 (arriving December 17) is at an all-time high. Meanwhile, Fallout 76 continues to expand with new content, including the upcoming Ghoul origin story update, further tying together the post-apocalyptic universe.

With the Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition, Bethesda is giving fans both old and new a perfect excuse to revisit one of the most beloved RPGs of the modern era. Whether you’re building the perfect settlement, modding your favorite laser rifle, or wandering the glowing ruins in search of adventure, the Commonwealth is calling once again.

So grab your Pip-Boy, stock up on stimpaks, and cue up “Atom Bomb Baby.” The bombs may have fallen ten years ago, but the wasteland’s never looked better. The Fallout 4 Anniversary Edition launches November 11, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. More info can be found on Bethesda’s official Fallout site.
