Black Geyser Gets Greedy With A Launch Date

Black Geyser, a dark new CRPG is due to bring its own brand of greed games when it launches on 17 march 2022.

After pillaging its way past early access testing, on Steam, dark fantasy adventure Black Geyser finally has a full release date. The grim tale is set to launch on Steam and GoG platforms on 17 March, throwing players into a world that isn’t entirely built for regular heroes This grim tale of personal wealth and survival in a unique fantasy environment will cost new players back around $24.99 or local equivalent, but I’m sure you’ll pinch some in game gold to make up for the loss. While anybody who bought the title as part of the successful Kickstarter campaign or signed up during earlier testing phases can still continue to play on launch, everybody else will experience the curse of greed for the first time.

Set in a land ravaged by civil war, the realm of Yerengal is a traditional mix of might and magic, filled with grim monsters, ancient wickedness, and drunken tavern brawls, probably. After banishing the Devil-god Rothgor, this desolate place should have seen peace. instead, it seems cursed. The comforts of civilization won’t get you anywhere in these dark times and more conflict is brewing. Players who intend to survive will need to pick from a range of 5 playable races, 13 different class archetypes, and a party of potential allies to battle your way through a range of challenges and deep dark dungeons. While this all sounds quite familiar, Black Geyser should make its mark using a huge narrative and a greed mechanic that impacts the characters around you.

As you explore the realms, you’ll take an isometric view, battle demons, uncover each character’s real motives, and control your team of adventurers using a tactical combat system. Just pray that they don’t leave you trapped down some dungeon for the loot. The full launch of this title brings plenty of changes and developer GrapeOcean Technologies can’t wait for you to get in and play.

“As a small team, it’s been a long road since Early Access’ release, and thanks to the amazing feedback we’ve received from players, both the features and the performance of the game has massively improved. It has been a real community effort – from the fans, to the fans, of the classic-style RTwP genre” – David Zakal, Director and Founder of GrapeOcean Technologies.
