Metal: Hellsinger VR is coming to Meta Quest 2 & 3, Meta Quest Pro, and PS VR 2 in Fall 2024.
Steel yourself for some crunching riffs and explosive FPS action when the demon infested realms of Metal: Hellsinger come to VR in Fall 2024. Funcom just announced that they are prepared to inject the heaviest of gameplay right into your eyeballs thanks to Meta Quest 2 & 3, Meta Quest Pro, and PS VR 2, and this rhythm-based shooter has a brand-new demo too.
Players watching the Upload VR showcase caught the news last night, but there’s still plenty of time to head over to the Steam Store and check out the demo, ahead of the full launch. Just load up Steam VR on a compatible VR headset and test out some new additions. The demo features a brand-new lobby, where you can prepare to cull anything that gets in your way, select a level, music, loadout, and more.
Anybody jumping in for a taste of the action will be able to try out the two first missions in the game, along with four weapons. Alongside Paz, your loyal and loquacious skull, who can sear enemies with fiery wrath, you will also get to try Terminus, a wickedly agile sword. These are joined by the Hounds, a set of demonic twin pistols and Persephone, a bad ass shotgun.
The VR announcement comes with it’s own metal trailer, introduced by Matt Heafy, but distinguishes itself form the original incarnation thanks to immersive gameplay and fully free form targeting. Walk where you want and take aim at whatever takes you fancy before scoring an ultimate attack and destroying the denizens of this hellish outing.

Available across PC, PlayStation, and Xbox systems, this adventure follows the fate of a lost soul named simply “The Unknown”.
