Hell Byte Studios has proudly announced the release of their debut project Blood Reaver in Early Access. The team spent years building the game they wabted to create, fueling the project with passion and love for co-op shooters. To mark this day, they prepared a brand-new launch trailer. The video demonstrates dynamic gameplay, different set of weapons and the dark fantasy atmosphere. Moreocer, the Demo version of the game is still available on Steam.
Blood Reaver is a Round-based FPS set in the dark fantasy world. Players take a role if a cursed warriors, who meant to stop a demon uprising. The game features both solo and co-op mode up to 4 players. The gameplay offers a wide range of weapons and forbidden arts, from heavy metal firearms to blood magic. Every run brings new challenges, testing players abilty to adapt and improvise.
Blood Reaver – Key Game Features
- Resource Mechanic: Demons blood fuels abilities and powers-up the weapon.
- Spell System: Players can combine utility spells, offensive abilities, and ultimates. Spells can be swapped during gameplay.
- Magic: Blood Magic, Ethereal Arts, and Forbidden magic.
- Wave Structure: Standard wave shooter mechanics including movement, unlockable in-wave upgrades, upgrade crafting, and long-term progression.
- In-Wave Progression: Players reveal cards from the Deck of Fates and may offer weapons to the Blood Infuser for temporary enhancements.
- Exploration: Levels contain secrets, easter eggs, and narrative lore. Some content requires deeper progression.
- Maps: Each map includes unique mechanics, blood magic abilities, legendary weapons, and specific enemy types.
- Game Modes: The game supports solo play or co-op squads of up to four players.
