Cosy life sim Tales of The Shire Physical Edition is available to pre-order now.
iam8bit, together with developer Wētā Workshop and publisher Private Division have announced that anybody looking to take a trip down the Shire can bring home that cosy slice of life with physical editions across Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 for $39.99. Pre-orders for the retail offering and iam8bit exclusive version start today, ahead of the digital releases on 29 July, 2025.
Players looking to lock in their copy can grab a Tales of The Shire Physical Edition right now. Anybody looking to wait a little can still be assured that the retail edition will hit shelves on launch day. Both versions, priced at $39.99 each, include the game on disc/cart, region-free as always, with a beautiful 20” x 16” fold-out map of Bywater. Fans of The Hobbit life can gaze at the glorious green homestead and charming surroundings before heading into the game. The iam8bit Exclusive Edition dazzles with an additional pack-in, an idyllic and exclusive book cover O-sleeve. Tales of the Shire is an unusual but intriguing mix of ideas for the lord of the Rings franchise.
