Brainwash Gang and publisher Raw Fury has announced a co-op action–adventure Bye Bye Bonnie. The reveal came along with the brand-new trailer, featuring core gameplay and presenting the main game characters. The project introduces a unique mechanic: players control a rolling skull from the inside, operating buttons, levers, and pulleys to navigate through diverse biomes and challenges. However, the release date for now remains unknown.
Bye Bye Bonnie offers players to control a rolling skull named Bonnie. They have to navigate a vibrant toy-punk wasteland, looking for Mother. She has vanished a while ago, leaving behind only a note, her songs, and a towering structure on the horizon. Team up to four players should work together from inside the skull, pressing buttons, pulling levers, and activating abilities in sync to control power, distance, and trajectory. Outside the skull, the game plays like a classic platformer as players gather resources, banish skull-stealing butterflies, and solve environmental puzzles.
The game supports local and online co-op for up to four players. Solo play is possible but described as challenging.
