Indie developer from Lantern Bay Entertainment announced that horror project Casting Whispers participates in Steam Next Fest. From 13 to 20 October, the demo version of the game is available for everyone for free. Fans of immersive horror stories should definitely give this game a chance and experience, since it promises to be unlike anything they’ve seen before.
Events of Casting Whispers unravel in the 1960s, in a small city in America. The cosmic horror terrorize people there, and the players have to uncover the mysteries hidden in one of the apartment blocks. They take a role of a lab assistant, Victoria, who works in the field of psychic and mental psychology known as Extra-Sensory Perception (ESP).
This city was always her home, but one day something strange happened to her mentor, and to find out the truth, she goes to investigate the apartment building where he lives. However, she couldn’t imagine what awaits her within these walls.
