Cataclysm Classic Rage of the Firelands Update is Now Live - The Raid Opens on November 7

From the War Within to the War in the Firelands! WoW Cataclysm Classic had been updated with the Rage of the Firelands patch. Be prepared to face Ragnaros… again, when the Firelands raid opens up on November 7th.

The developers pleasantly note that this content update will burn an indelible mark in Azeroth’s history. From the new Elemental Bonds questline and the new Elemental Rune Dungeons: Protocol Inferno difficulty option, to building the legendary staff Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa’s Rest, after the raid becomes available.

Additionally, the team noted that players will be able to kick their graphics up a notch with the high-definition textures. This allows for a revitalized world while preserving its classic aesthetics.

But the real challenge arrives when Ragnaros’ forces surge towards Mount Hyjal, intent on burning Nordrassil. The Guardians of Hyjal make their stand to protect the World Tree. The battle to protect Hyjal still rages inside Ragnaros’s smoldering realm. As territory is gained and Azeroth’s champions edge closer to the Firelands’ inner sanctums, a monumental task lies ahead: challenge Firelord inside his very own domain

The Firelands raid will become available on Thursday, November 7, at 3:00 p.m. PST. Firelands is a 10- or 25-player, 7-boss raid and has two difficulty modes—Normal and Heroic. Defeat its protectors, challenge the Firelord himself, and get some epic loot, including two mounts!
