ESO revealed a new series of shorts, some of the dev tales of their personal stories from their time working on the game. You can find the playlist of videos on YouTube, there are six total, each one minute long.
“It takes a village to make a game like The Elder Scrolls Online, and every member of the team at ZeniMax Online Studies has their own tales to tell. In celebration of ESO’s 10-Year Anniversary, we asked members of the game’s development team to share their personal stories and anecdotes with us and the community in a series of new video shorts.”
Additionally, the developers have shared five ways to get ready for Seasons of the Worm Cult Part 1 & base game Update 46. The developers suggest playing through ESO’s main questline – after all, Seasons of the Worm will be the true sequel to the original storyline. What better way to prepare than to live through it?
The upcoming base game Update 46 will introduce the all-new Subclassing system, allowing you to mix and match your Class skill lines to create your ideal build. To get the most out of this system, you should ensure you have a character that has reached level 50 and have a bunch of spare Skill Points ready!
Find stalwart allies such as Prince Azah, Skordo the Knife and Gabrielle Benele. Strength in numbers holds true when fighting the Cult! Speaking of it, you can also learn more about this old enemy by battling them wherever they might be found. Join the famous Fighters Guild and take part in its unique questline to see one such instance.
Last but not least, the team suggest plays through the new Prologue that has you team up with Prinze Azah to track down the Fighters Guild Guildmaster.
ESO – Update 46 Additional QoL Preview:
- Further in-game map update: better tooltips, enhanced quest visibility, and more.
- Improved tutorials for the Wayshrine system.
- Update 46 will allow creators to upload their add-ons and console players to download add-ons.
- Master Writs are now awarded in stackable envelopes. Open them whenever you want to save on inventory space in between use.

ESO Update 46 arrives free for all players on PC/Mac on June 2, 2025, and for Xbox and PlayStation consoles on June 18, 2025.
