Check Out Ghoul Fright Demo During Steam Next Fest Through June 22

Coming from developer Atrax, Ghoul Fright is a physics-based action-packed FPS Survival Beat em up with a 90/2000s cartoon vibe. The demo is free to play during the Steam Next Fest through June 22. If you’ve ever wanted to roll through a horde of ghouls while causing chaos and destruction in your wake, this is the game for you.

Atrax Games is a two-person UK-based independent studio formed by game designer Jaime Valls Vigil and developer Dennis Martinez Molina, better known to horror-game fans as DS Nahogara. Prepare for bright, grotesque, funny and frightening survival that will amuse and surprise you simultaneously.

Ghoul Fright – Key Features Include:

  • Throw almost anything. Grab props, furniture, and environmental objects and hurl them into the chaos. The physics-driven mayhem is the heart of the combat.
  • Hands-on, close-quarters brawling. Punch, kick, block, grab, and land heavy attacks in fast, tactile first-person combat.
  • Run, dodge, and grow stronger. Move fast to survive escalating waves and unlock new skills as you level up.
  • Cartoon horror with bite. A late-90s / 2000s Saturday-morning-cartoon look meets genuine horror tension and dark comedy.
  • A soundtrack with personality. Funky, high-energy music that drives the arcade chaos.
  • Wave-based survival. Increasing difficulty and cursed wave-style challenges built around a single, escalating fantasy: stay alive, cause destruction.
