The UGREEN x Genshin Impact Collaboration is 5-Star Power Delivery!

The perfect power for gacha gamers on the go, a Kinich themed package revealed a vibrant new UGREEN x Genshin Impact Collaboration

Second only to the Silver Wolf, Kinich is HoYoverse’s face of gaming, but unlike the queen of desktop rigs this dynamic Scion seems like more of an on the go gamer to me. Nataln doesn’t give players much time to kick back and plug in, making a new set of Kinich styled power banks, cables, and chargers feel like a must have for gacha fans ready to conquer any challenge on the morning commute.

Launching Into Natlan

UGREEN launch the new Genshin Impact charging collection on 25 March 2025, under the theme of “Power Up, Game On”. The co-branded power accessories include a 20,000mAh fast-charging power bank, an ultra-durable nylon-braided 100W cable, a portable 65W GaN fast charger, and a Qi2-certified wireless charger. Each of the peripherals provide gamers an opportunity to show their allegiance and continue to game wherever they are without interruptions. Featuring Kinich, a powerful pixel art hunter, this lineup unlocks in 14 countries across the globe without any need for gacha and certainly no 50/50. Instead of crossing your fingers and pressing buy, take a look at our impressions when we opened the lid on the new UGREEN x Genshin Impact Collaboration..

UGREEN USB-C to USB-C Cable Genshin Impact Edition

ajaw ugreen Genshin cable

It’s long, it’s green and it’s a high quality USB C cable. The new Kinich themed USB C to USB C cable from this  UGREEN x Genshin Impact  release comes blazing out of the box in an almost fluorescent Dendro green. The braided cable has the same sort of premium feel you’d expect from any UGREEN cable, with just a bit more flair. Where the Uno cable range is understated but adorable, this is loud.

SPECIFICATION

Connector Type USB Type C
Output 100W Max
Transfer Rate 480 Mbps
Length 1m (3.28ft)
Material Aluminium and Nylon Braid

Much like Natalan’s inhabitants, this won’t go unnoticed. A bright green ultra-durable nylon-braided cable stretches for 1 metre. It’s topped off by a pair of aluminium USB C connectors that are decorated in Genshin and UGREEN branding. It all feels distinctly premium, but the highlight of the cable is the adorable K’uhul Ajaw-themed cable strap wrapped around the end.. At an RRP of $9.99, this is the most affordable entry point into the dendro colored collaboration and with 100W support and 480 Mbps transfer rates, it’s a solid buy even if you don’t main Kinich.

UGREEN Nexode Power Bank Genshin Impact Edition

UGREEN Nexode Power Bank Genshin Impact Edition-1

Star of the show and the reason you won’t ever have to worry about running out of Genshin on the move again, the UGREEN Nexode Power Bank Genshin Impact Edition made a triumphant entry on our desktop when we got hands on. The 20,000mAH power bank comes with the aforementioned warrior emblazoned across the front face, and the solid shell is adorned with a range of patterns and graffiti art that all tie the design back to the Scion of the Canopy. It all seems pleasantly premium, etched and printed onto the solid plastic housing so this decoration feels far more premium than a sticker slapped on the end. There’s a care to the design that Genshin Impact fans will appreciate enough to pop it in the accompanying travel bag, if it comes with one.

On the top of this hefty carry on are 3 ports, capable of charging multiple devices simultaneously. A mix of USB C and USB A options mean 3 devices can be plugged in, and players find an adorable Ajaw pixel art power-on animation ready to greet them. The front facing TFT Smart Display does more than just welcome us to this brand new collaboration. It’s the central hub, providing information on the outgoing power, status, and remaining battery on a live feed. Plug in a multitude of devices to find out how much power is being delivered , what’s going on with the battery pack, and more. This is particularly useful thanks to the number of available configurations. From 100W on a single port, to 30W, 22.5W USB C, or a combination of 2 and 3 port charging that can deliver 30W, 122.5W, or 130W. It’s not as fun as Ajaw, but a thoughtful and informative display that really sets this model apart from other options.

Going Mobile

The UGREEN Nexode Power Bank Genshin Impact Edition is quite honestly an S Tier choice when declaring your gacha affiliation. If Kinich is in your main comp, then you’re already half sold, but the functional capabilities are just as impressive as the decoration. The 20,000mAH battery is enough to bring an iphone 15 or four to 100%, and the advanced battery cell technology offers high energy density, and retains over 80% capacity after 1000 charge cycles.

With that impressive lifespan, players can get gaming on the and leverage quick power boosts thanks to the 100W charge capability. Fast charge got my S23+ from single digits to 65% in around 40 minutes, while UGREEN purports around 55% of an S24 Ultra battery in around the same time frame. Even taking into account my own battery health, ambient environment, and less than laboratory conditions, these reported numbers seem pretty consistent with what we managed out in the field.

Recharging the Kinich fronted battery pack is equally speedy. Plug in a 65W charger and you’ll reasonably expect a fully charged cell in around 2 hours. All the while, the smart TFT display will keep owners up to date while power tops up. For real; world reference, I managed the first 50% in one hour and 3 minutes using a 65W GaN fast charger, so while it seems UGREEN’s numbers are best case scenario, you should see something approximating while smashing Hilichurls.

The rapid fire charging is, in part, thanks to the tech packed into this pack. The 13 layer safety protection doesn’t include Electro element resistance, but it will stop anything untoward from happening in real life operation. The Short circuit, overvoltage and undervoltage, temperature, over and undervoltage, over and under current, manual reset, short circuit, and auto circuit interrupt features mean that you won’t be risking your safety for a quick boost. Just, please don’t test out how it interacts with Hyrdo elements in real life.

Endurance

Just as impressive as the speed of delivery is the phenomenal power delivery. Checking out the multitude of options available, up to 130W and three devices can charge at any one time, but we really wanted to push the limits of what the Genshin Impact Edition power bank could do. Enter my ROG Ally and an morning commute with some blazing fast gaming, in this case just 3D Mark’s Time Spy. For the sake of consistency we hooked up the 100W power delivery to my ROG Ally handheld gaming system and ran repeated runs of the 3D mark Time Spy test until things went dark. Thanks to this port option, the Ally was not only able to run for 80 minutes , but it kept it up in turbo mode, drawing as much power as it could manage from the power bank.

Do I Equip It?

The UGREEN Nexode Power Bank Genshin Impact Edition is the 5-Star pull for this collaboration. The Nexode power bank series was already a solid investment for anybody gaming on the go. A plethora of power options, up to 130W combined charging, speedy power delivery, and portability meant it was always going to keep up portable gaming demands. Now, it sheds the hum drum silver shell for a blaze of Genshin themed glory that will mean you can spend more time in Natlan.

UGREEN Nexode Charger Genshin Impact Edition

ugreen Genshin impact nexode charger

Get charged up before battle and do it in style with the UGREEN Nexode Charger Genshin Impact Edition. Top tier damage dealers and incredible power packs might be the star of the show but don’t misunderstand that support characters are incredibly important. The new Kinich branded UGREEN Nexode Charger Genshin Impact Edition charger can slot into your setup as part of a well balanced team, helping prepare you for going cable free before and facing another Fatui Harbinger, maybe. The new themed wall charger is based on the current 65W Nexode GaN wall charger, bringing a tried and tested set of tech to your setup that couples speedy power output with an impressive set of port options.

Opening up the Kinich branded wall charger for the first time, it’s obvious who this is aimed at. Wrapped up in a green and black branded box, the latest UGREEN charger comes covered in the same sort of decoration we saw with the UGREEN Nexode Power Bank Genshin Impact Edition. Scion of the Canopy , Kinich, features heavily, with an action pose splashed across the side of the diminutive wall plug. Thankfully for Genshin fans, size doesn’t matter here. The flash of green and yellow is almost immediately identifiable as the aforementioned hero, while familiar icons and elements are etched into the casing.

Branding isn’t everything, but the consistent design fits nicely with the rest of the range and adds a little fun to an otherwise functional bit of kit. Why not have a little joy in this sort of hardware. It’s why I always have a Nexode Uno charger in my bag.

Plugging In

Like any wall charger, there’s little in the way of additional features available to users. It’s all function from here on in. As a 65W GaN charger, this support star can accommodate and support up to three devices all at once. A singular USB A, and two USB C slots provide charging for three simultaneous connections thanks to the on board Gan II tech and an integrated power distribution system.

UGREEN purports to generally decrease charge times and even get some Macbook Pros to 100% in 90 minutes, and this seems to be roughly correct. I plugged in and connected a multitude of cables through this charger, using the Kinich styled power bank as my first test. 50% of a 2000 mAh battery in one hour seems to support the concept of ‘fast charge’, while an oft used Macbook Pro 2021 13 inch managed a full charge in under two hours.

These real world tests aren’t truly scientific, and they were both conducted using a single USB C connection to deliver 65W to the power bank. The charger can also deliver a variety of other power modes, from all three ports. You can choose to deliver 65W through a single USB C connector, 22.5W through the USB A port, or a combination of modes depending on your needs. The total output will never exceed 65W and that combines with a range of safety and design features to keep the charger well within tolerable heat levels at all times, no matter where you are. With fold-in socket pins, a pocket size footprint, and a weight of 130g,this charger will take the power of Genshin Impact to any socket you meet. Whether you need the EU, US, or UK compatible plug option, the new UGREEN x Genshin Impact charger brings impressive build quality, consistent power delivery, and a little bit of Genshin Impact to your wall, power strip, or travel bag.

UGREEN MagFlow Wireless Charger Genshin Impact Edition

qi2 uygreen x Genshin charger

On the go power might be the focus of the Kinich flavored UGREEN x Genshin Impact release, but back at the desk, there’s a little bit of Genshin waiting too. The UGREEN MagFlow Wireless Charger Genshin Impact Edition is a twist on the current Maglow Qi2 Magnetic charger, combining the same compact power connectivity that the standard version provides with an homage to Natlan’s finest. Getting this out of the box, you’ll find little else other than the standard charter and documentation, but there’s not much to fathom in the operation. Offering a range of foldout wire free charging options, it’s obvious how to get started with the most distinctive magflow you’re likely to see.

Look and feel

Like the rest of the newly decorated peripherals, this magflow comes with a fully licensed decoration themed on the Scion of the Canopy. Along the top, you’ll see graphics referencing the in game Natalan natives and Kinich in particular, Bright green depictions of the almighty dragon lord are found around the sides of the square base .This is where you’ll find the USB C input port and a pass through port. A Genshin impact logo seems to be the only other decoration until the charger folds out, presenting a pixelated target plastered right across the lower charging face of this device. There’s not a huge amount of available space for branding or decoration, with the new Maglow measuring only 2.4×2.4×1.5 inches.Despite this, the UGREEN x Genshin Impact set manages to make this tiny bit of kit as immediately identifiable as the character it’s based on, without feeling cheap.

The overall construction confirm this assertion. The mix of matt plastics and metal feels solid, despite weighing barely more than 200g. TThe lightweight hinge that holds the top and bottoms components together unlocks securely and doesn’t seem to have any undue flex, while the silicon footing on the base ensures there’s no slippage when fully loaded. Set down on a desk and unfolded, this will happily allow you to learn or load on a modern iPhone, or a Ssmsung S23+ in my case, without falling over or folding shut.

Specification Met Qi2

COMPATIBILITY

Earbuds AirPods 2-4 series
Mobile: iPhone 12-16 and all other Qi2-enabled devices

Much like the rest of the UGREEN line up,,the internals and overall performance are consistent with the advertised specifications. The Qi2 tech is capable of full 15W charging on the top connection, while simultaneous 5W and 5W connections can draw power from the lower interface and a USB C wired port on the side of the device. I even managed full 25 W pass through on the USB C port, but then there’s no real point in that. You will, of course, need compatible devices to make full use of the charger, but I popped a plethora of Qi compatible watches and phones past this and didn’t find any trouble whatsoever.

While charging, the UGREEN MagFlow Wireless Charger Genshin Impact Edition utilises an MCU and power management chip to provide real-time current and voltage monitoring, preventing overcurrent, overvoltage, overheating and short circuit, while the frame expels enough heat to comfortably balance the any worry of overheating and safe use.

You will absolutely need to make sure that you have an adequately powerful wall charger to ensure that this works as intended, but its small size, multitude of ports, and branding make it a great addition to travel kits or something like a dock.

Overall impressions

Because we has an opportunity to review this series as a whole, we’re going to score it as one. The UGREEN x Genshin Impact Collaboration is a little bit of fun in your pocket. The self styled docks, power systems, cables, and NAS are all powerfully capable pieces of kit, but with this collaboration UGREEN and HoYoverse bring a little joy to the world beyond Teyvat. Following on from the Uno chargers, this Gacaha roll seems to have succeeded. There’s no denying that the Nexode series is solid, and the designs here are likely to delight any Genshin fan.

I do have some reservations about the single 20,000mAh power bank and the singular 1 meter cable option, but I also understand some of those choices. The 20,000 mAh battery was able to lend a hand to a windows handheld, or even a laptop, and Genshin Impact doesn’t just belong on an iPhone. The cable sizes, I’m maybe not so inclined to understand. With that said, if you love gacha then the UGREEN x Genshin Impact Collaboration is a great choice and adds the sort of unique twists to a useful buy that will make it worth your time.

For those that have time, but blew their wallet on the latest  banner event, you can win  theUGREEN × Genshin Impact Kinich Collectible Gift Box and exclusive Genshin Impact merchandise. Just head over to UGREEN’s official website or social media channel, where you might see some things that have already appeared here up for grabs.
