Airship Syndicate has announced a Job Board, so you can get to work in Wayfinder right now!
MMORPG Wayfinder already had a new update. As 2024 opens and the chill of winter thaws, players are getting back to the grind. Not long after the final days of the first Eventide wrapped up, the team behind this Early Access MMO took to social media and Steam to announce a big new addition to the world. Anybody logging into player hubs will now find a Job Board off on the horizon. While it’s not entirely finalized, the new feature should let players pick up quests at their leisure, gathering more XP for their Wayfinder, Weapon, and Reward Tower. There’s a promise of daily and weekly rewards for players., and of course the spillover benefit of extra loot for anybody out hacking down their targets.
The Job Board system is still in flux. This is a preview, after all. The development team are actively listening to feedback on the nature of these challenges, with a dedicated site to add ideas. This isn’t the only upcoming addition to Wayfinder. Q1 2024 already has a busy schedule. The plan for this year was recently refreshed and it’s likely to be a big one. Some major changes to progression are dropping in soon, tweaking the Armory Ranks and Archetype Accolade tracks.
Content is coming too, with new and challenging Mythic Hunts. As you’d expect, that means more DPS, bigger hits, and probably more dead Wayfinders. The rewards are equally epic however, with Mythic Rush echo variants, new accessory sets and Black Gloomstone drops potentially dropping. More loot will arrive in the form of a new Reward Tower, and we will finally see the arrival of new character Grendel, first announced last year. The relentless pace of updates for this first quarter 2024 continues with a new open world zone included in the Frostmarch expansion and mounts marching into the game. All of this is just the precursor to the big one. Raids are penned in for Q2 of 2024, so get grinding on that Job Board preview and store up as much XP as you can for the challenges to come.
