Developer Sandfall Interactive is back with the accolades trailer for Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, giving a quick overview of the much deserved enthusiastic opinions of game critics. Players are not falling behind: two weeks ago, 33 days since Expedition 33 set off, the game sold 3.3 million copies.
Every year, the world of Clair Obscur witnesses a beautiful but heartbreaking phenomenon. The Paintress wakes up and paints a cursed number upon her monolith, clearly seen in the distance. And everyone of that age turns to smoke and petals and fades away. Year by year, that number ticks down and more people are erased. Tomorrow she’ll wake again and paint “33.” You join Expedition 33 on their final mission: Destroy the Paintress, so she can never paint death again.
In addition to the gripping plot, filled with twists, turns, tragedy, grief, and above all love, the game features engaging turn-based combat, stunning graphics and lovable but deeply flawed characters. If you haven’t given it a try, the best time is now, until you stumble on spoilers. This is a story best experienced for yourself, from the beginning to the very end.
Last but not least, the game also received patch 1.3.0. Check out the Steam page to find the full list of changes.
