Coming from developer Noodle Cat Games, Cloudheim is an upcoming co-op action RPG. Play solo or with up to 3 friends as you discover dungeons & collect loot to bring home to your base in the skies.
In Cloudheim, rally your allies for spectacular, combo-driven combat in a destructible world, where enemies take more damage when you use physics to destroy them. What’s more, you can harness powerful abilities and craft ever-evolving weapons to add to your devastating combos! This part of gameplay is the center of the trailer above.
During the initial reveal, the developers have stated that with visual crafting, players will never have to wait for a friend in a menu as they can craft a massive array of weapons, gear, and powerful abilities usable in battle. In the crafting trailer, Kim Steiner from Noodle Cat Games goes over the basics of crafting and shop management.
Of course, you won’t be able to get far without the right materials, so get out there to defeat enemies, harvest resources, and explore dungeons. For those who can’t keep their hands away from interactibles, the devs have your back: all your loot is automatically set back to your home base, no inventory space is no limitation!
To upgrade your base, you are going to need a lot of gold. Craft items and sell them to visitors from other realms to make some quick cash. Do note however that shoppers will have different needs, and if you don’t have what they need, they’ll simply leave without buying anything. Be sure to keep your shop well-stocked and tidy to keep the money flowing and the reputation increasing!
As your base grows, you will also be able to hire little Blins to lend a hand and keep it operating smoothly.
