Bandai Namco Studios has announced CODE VEIN II: Mask of Idris. New DLC for the acclaimed soulslike action RPG brings new content to the game. The expansion introduces exploration set in the Forsaken World, a setting forged from the converged passions of worlds that vanished due to historical alterations.
Mask of Idris takes players to the Forsaken World. This alternate reality exists because of the converged passions of worlds that once vanished. At its core lies a colossal, swirling spindle of these passions, continuously drawing in emotions from all times and spaces. It now threatens to impact the real world, and someone has to stop it before It’s too late.
Key DLC Features
- New World: New areas of the altered reality available for exploration along with new monsters and challenges.
- New Character: Players will cross paths with Liv Voda, the alluring guardian of time and space who possesses a combative personality.
Access Requirements
Mask of Idris is post-game content. To access the new campaign, players must :
- Reach the “Luna Fraterna” ending in the main story
- Complete the sub-mission “Valentin’s Request”
Free Update Version 2.0
A free update (Version 2.0) will launch simultaneously with the DLC, adding content that lets players explore the post-main game world alongside their partners
The DLC will launch on September 9 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). The DLC will be available for standalone purchase and is included with the Deluxe and Ultimate Editions of the base game.
