Funcom is pulling out all the stops for the fifth anniversary of Conan Exiles, the survival title based on Robert Howard’s well-known novels. As part of the celebration, the team released a stunning infographic with some impressive stats and announced the start date for the next new season. Players can look for the Age of War season to kick off starting June 22nd.
Of all the stats on the infographic, perhaps the most hilarious ones are 1.5M deaths by crocodiles and nearly 2.5M human body parts harvested.
The team also revealed the Age of War roadmap that provides a peek at what players can expect over the next several months. According to developers, this new narrative “spans a full-scale military invasion of the Exiled Lands” and will span three significant updates. There will also be a new Battle Pass “overflowing with cosmetics.”
In Chapter One, players can collect treasures from across the game world and display them in private vaults. With those goodies, players can create and customize their own clan emblems and display them on banners and shields.
After Age of War – Chapter One, Conan Exiles will see major additions such as improved and expanded purges, recruitable mercenaries, and upgraded enemy AI, finally culminating in a PvE raid where players strike back at the Stygian invasion. These are the biggest features coming in Age of War, but there is a lot more in the works that will be revealed later.
Age of War will deploy on June 22nd for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PC, and Xbox Game Pass on June 22nd.
